Most Glorious Virgin and most worthy mother Saint Claire,
the clearest mirror of holiness and purity,
the firm base of the most vivid faith,
the fire of perfect charity and the richest treasury of all virtues.
For all these favors with which the divine Saint filled you;
and by the special prerogative of having made
your soul a throne of its infinite greatness,
reach us with your immense piety,
that cleanse our souls from stains and guilt,
and destitute of all earthly effects,
be a temple worthy of their habitation.
We also beg you for the peace and tranquility of the church,
so that she may always remain in the unity of faith,
of holiness, of customs,
which make her undeniable to the efforts of her enemies.
And if it were for the greater glory of God and
my spiritual good that I ask for this prayer,
you, as mother and protector,
present my wishes in the divine office:
for I trusted in the infinite goodness,
which by your merits
I will achieve for your greatest honor and glory.
